Westwood Professional Services, an engineering and planning consulting firm, was interested in moving into a larger, more open working environment that reflected their core business and company values. In 2005, Walsh Bishop designed a 28,000 sf space that provides engaging, collaborative, and comfortable work environmrents for staff and clients. The new office utilizes sustainable solutions such as office-wide daylighting, recycled rubber flooring, and a carpet tile recycling program. By eliminating the “hard-walled” offices, management staff is successfully integrated with the design and production staff, encouraging complete engagement and interaction among the entire Westwood team.
