Time Warner Cable/Comcast was struggling with offices distributed across the metropolitan area and the inefficiencies this created in their operations and productivity. Walsh Bishop studied the needs, challenges and culture of each office to develop a one-location solution designed to enhance employee retention and improve operating efficiency. Our architectural and interior design services for the new facility, a previously vacant renovated three-story office building, addressed concerns including security, open environments, and the blending of indoor environments with the landscaped exterior. The design of this facility focuses on creating community and a workplace that enhances employee quality of life. Although expecting a 20 percent employee loss with the move, the client saw less than one percent of employees choose not to relocate to the new campus headquarters.
