The Mohican North Star Casino, in Bowler, WI, will open in August 2009. The 272,683 sf project, designed for the Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohican Indians, will have a gaming floor of over 36,800 sf. The resort development also includes a 150-room hotel, and parking ramp that will add over 1,500 parking spaces, and a 10,500 sf convention center, and a 13,600 sf event center. The facility design includes a steakhouse, informal dining areas, and a deli. There will also be a cabaret, spa, arcade, business center. In addition, a cultural display is integrated into the design paying tribute to the Stockbridge-Munsee Band.
